๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“šWhat a Vegan Child Eats: Nutritional Breakdown & RDA’s (Part Two)๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒฟ

This is part two of my previous "What a vegan child eats in a day video" which you can watch here: https://youtu.be/Sgi7lJMTEiw I go over the nutrients he got from this day of eating and how much is recommended for his age range. To keep this video short, I only cover the TOP nutrients that are of concern on a vegan diet and I try to show which foods has the highest amounts of nutrients. Since my last nutritional video, my son is now eating more foods and I do not feel the need to supplement with a multivitamin any more. I do have them for instances when we travel, if he skips meals, or if I feel like he didn't eat enough nutrients for that day... The only supplement I do give him now, every 2-3 days or so, is the 7 sources Plant based Omega supplement, which has Vegan DHA/EPA conveniently in oil form to mix into smoothies, cereals, and other foods. By no means does a vegan child REQUIRE this supplement for health, this is just personal preference. Do some research on vegan children and you will find many of them are supplement free (aside from maybe B12 which we ALL NEED). Pleasseee Take some time to do research vs. assume things off a lifestyle you have never tried or experienced correctly. I say this in the nicest way... I just get a lot of comments claiming that my son is either not healthy because of the supplements or saying that vegan diets in general are not healthy because we NEED supplements. I feel like I always need to repeat myself and in a way justify/explain this over and over again to people... and I will keep REPEATING it so that people will stop spreading misinformation ! I clearly state that I CHOOSE to supplement this specifically, because I want to ensure he is getting these very key nutrients for development. For anyone against supplements, I just want you to think about how many non vegans take supplements and really pay attention to your family and friends because I know for a fact, people in my real life and on social media take supplements - and they are not vegan. Fitness gurus are always flaunting pills for multivitamin, fiber, vitamin C, vitamin E, and fish oil (among other crazy pills). Even if I WAS NOT vegan, I would NOT give my son FISH or FISH OIL that is laden with chemicals and toxins. This is completely counterintuitive to "brain development" and not realistic to give them DAILY. If you decide to be hateful towards veganism or insulting towards my son or myself... you will be blocked and your comments will be deleted. I do this out of my free time because I want to educate, inform and share this amazing lifestyle. There is no reason why I need to tolerate trolls or whatever other weird creatures exist on social media that are immature and disrespectful. Opinions, feedback, and criticism are welcomed always. ๐Ÿ“ Quick and Easy Butternut Squash Soup | High Protein, Vegan, and Gluten Free ! ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒฟ

One of my favorite quick and easy VEGAN recipes to make in my home ! I do use a carton of pre made butternut squash, which comes seasoned and tastes amazing, but if you want to avoid the extra SODIUM in this product, you can simple bake your own butternut squash, blend with some non dairy milk, and season it to your liking ! For those who like to keep it simple and are lazy like me, you can follow this recipe I shared in the video : Ingredients Used: For Quinoa - 1 cup mixed Quinoa, Rinsed 2 cups water Bring to Boil, lower heat, cover, and simmer for 15 min. For Soup- 1/2 Large White Onion, diced 1-2 Tbsp Garlic, minced 1 can Black Beans, rinsed 1 can Garbanzo Beans, rinsed 1 can Organic Fire Roasted Tomatoes (I blended mine) 1 Vegetable Bouillon (Rapunzel brand) 1 carton of organic Creamy Butternut Squash Soup 2-3 cups Power Greens Optional: I added half a bag of steamed Organic Root Veggies (Orange/Yellow Carrots, Sweet potatoes, and Parsnips) Directions: Sautee Onion + Garlic with some water until browned. Add beans, tomatoes, veg cube, and butternut squash soup. Cook for 15-20min to blend flavors together. Once you are happy with the consistency and taste, turn off heat. Add 2-3 cups Greens, mix around. and serve ! ๐Ÿ›๐ŸŽ What a Vegan Child Eats in a Day | Vegan Nutrition & Meal Ideas (Part One) ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŒฟ

In this video I share with you a random day of eating for my son. Everyday is different and I usually have leftovers on hand so I am not cooking every meal, every day (I also have recipes on my channel if you need some help cooking vegan foods). I show a lot of variety and options (including any suggestions for getting certain nutrients on a vegan diet) because I want anyone who runs into my channel to realize that a vegan diet does not have to be boring, tasteless, nutrient deficient, or restrictive. There are tons of options nowadays and I hope my videos can be inspirational to any parents or people in general thinking about adapting more of a vegan lifestyle. If you are interested in seeing the nutritional content of what he ate on this particular day, stay tuned because I will be making a separate video showing the RDAs for toddlers and how much he obtained. Simple, yet effective exercises I like doing for toning and building muscle. Please keep in mind this is just an example of what I do, and in no way saying this is how you should do things. You can always switch up the exercises or modify weights so that they are challenging TO YOU. I personally do not lift super heavy any more, so thats why I donโ€™t do max weights anymore. I now enjoy using a challenging weight with more reps :) At the end I show a short body update because i am currently cutting down a bit for a trip and I want to track progress. Plus I want to share how I manage to maintain my average weight eating whatever I want on a vegan lifestyle ! ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“š Is High Carb Hannah Getting Enough Nutrients on The Potato Diet? Let’s Break it down !

Nutritional Breakdown of โ€œThe Potato Dietโ€ that a fellow vegan you tuber High Carb Hannah is currently following. I did approximate calculations and took the sample day of eating from this video here : https://youtu.be/iMOs1JLQ93w After filming this video she came out with 2 Q&A videos, so please make sure to check those out (I didnโ€™t mention any content of those videos here) I also left 2 comments on her channel asking if she supplements with anything or has a B12 shot, so up to this point I am not sure.. but I do explain in the video that Cronometer doesnโ€™t ALWAYS account for all of the foods nutrients. In fact, whenever I try and calculate Fortified Milks and SCAN them, Cronometer does not account for Vitamin D, B12, or any other listed nutrients. (When I notice this I manually input the food with all the nutrients โ€ฆ). After inputting her food, Cronometer showed that she had NO Vitamin D โ€ฆ. I knew that was incorrect because she had TONS of mushrooms. You always want to be aware of these little details, but donโ€™t worry I caught it :) **For this video I did estimates based off of what she showed in her video and it is just an example day of eating on a potato (starch based) diet. Please be advised I am not saying these are the EXACT measurements of food she ate, just a general idea (sample) day of eating and what nutrients you are looking to get on such a SIMPLE and AFFORDABLE lifestyle. I wanted to share this so that people can see for themselves the power of plants and how we do not need animal products to be healthy or get our nutrients :) If you guys have any information I left out please share in the comments and if Hannah ever watches this video, Ij just want to say THANK YOU so much for sharing your weight loss journey and inspiring so many people !
